ModnPods is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and manage personal information in the course of our operations via our website www.modnpods.com.au and related services.

By using our Site or providing us with your information, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

If you have concerns or believe we have breached this Privacy Policy or the Privacy Act, please contact our Privacy Officer (see Section 9) to lodge a complaint. We will investigate and respond in a timely manner.

If unsatisfied, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. Security & retention

Security. We take reasonable steps (physical, technical, administrative) to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. While we strive to ensure our systems are secure, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal or accounting obligations, or as required by law. Once no longer needed, we securely delete, anonymise or destroy the data.

10. Supplementary / Internet & email privacy

In addition:

  • We may use third-party vendors (e.g. Google, Meta, LinkedIn) employing cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, track site usage, or remarket.

  • Where used, third-party cookies (e.g. for remarketing) are subject to the third parties’ privacy policies, and you may opt out via browser settings, device settings, or relevant opt-out tools.

  • If we use reCAPTCHA or similar services, Google’s terms and privacy policy will also apply.
     

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are significant, we will:

  • Potentially notify you via email or a notification on the Site.
